Volunteer sales professionals work with the business owners on their sales strategy and process. WIM Summit: This is a 3 day intensive that allows diverse business owners to learn sales by doing. They learn about using a CRM for sales tracking, they design a website sales page, and receive 1 on 1 coaching on their sales strategy. The women, immigrant, and minority business owners also receive instruction from other successful business owners who have graduated from our programs. Sales Accelerator Program: This 12 week program provides diverse business owners the opportunity to learn the fundamental sales skills. In 2019, we held our largest-to-date symposium, where we raise $130,000 and gave away $25,000 in scholarships and travel grants. This year we moved our symposium back to Boston, hosting the symposium at the Harvard Medical School. Perricone MD gave the Born Seekers fellowship at this event. The fellowship recognized women in STEM with the potential to change the world with their research. Over 350 applications from all over the US were recieved. We have 25 active collegiate chapters, and we are working to activate chapters that previously had been active. In 2020 we plan to hire a part-time executive director to help with our fundraising efforts!
